Paulding County announced on May 24 that a water main break in the Yorkville area is affecting most of the community. The county said a contractor is currently on site and repairs are underway.

The outage impacts residents’ access to water services in Yorkville, prompting an apology from the county for the inconvenience. Timely repair efforts are ongoing to restore normal service as soon as possible.

“We apologize for this inconvenience,” Paulding County said in its statement.

While not directly related to the current outage, Paulding County has seen growth and demographic changes in recent years.
