Quick Response teams are set to begin a new project in Houston County on SR 127 and SR 11, known as Commerce Street and Macon Road, in Perry. The work is scheduled to start on July 28, weather permitting. The crews will focus on paving and re-striping the roads to improve traffic flow. Motorists should expect lane closures and minor delays during this period.
The project aims for completion by fall 2025. Motorists are advised to anticipate delays, exercise caution, and reduce speed when traveling through work zones. For real-time updates on the project’s status and traffic conditions, individuals can call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the Georgia 511 app.
