State Representative Segun Adeyina (D-Grayson) will join with A Driving Force M&S to host a community event aimed at supporting hurricane relief efforts in Jamaica and providing toys for children during the Christmas season. The Restore Jamaica: Hurricane Relief Community Event is scheduled for Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 4515 Lenora Church Road in Snellville, Georgia.
The initiative follows the impact of Hurricane Melissa on Jamaica and also seeks to benefit families in need through the Toys for Tots program.
“Jamaica’s recovery will take all of us coming together, and I’m grateful to partner with A Driving Force M&S to support families still reeling from Hurricane Melissa,” said Rep. Adeyina. “In times of crisis, community is our greatest strength. I encourage everyone who is able to join us, lend a hand and help bring hope and relief to those who need it most, including supporting Toys for Tots for families in need this Christmas.”
Shari Blake, Co-Founder and Community Impact Visionary of A Driving Force M&S, stated: “Our mission is simple but urgent: no one should be left hungry, homeless or unseen. With over 25 years in social work, I’ve learned that dignity begins with meeting basic needs—food, shelter and belonging. When we care for the most vulnerable, we strengthen the entire community.”
The event will feature Jamaican food, music, opportunities for community engagement, and activities designed for children.
