A Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) striping crew plans to conduct painting work on State Route 104, also known as Riverwatch Parkway, near Interstate 20 on Monday, April 21. This maintenance effort will involve lane closures at various locations between Topgolf Way and the I-20 westbound off-ramp.
The work will primarily focus on repainting faded dashed lines to assist drivers making left turns at multiple intersections along the parkway. “Weather permitting, work is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 21. We do not anticipate this work will take more than one day to complete,” stated a GDOT representative.
Motorists are encouraged to expect delays and exercise caution while traveling through the designated work area. GDOT advises drivers to stay vigilant for workers and suggests reducing speed for safety.
