Senator Elena Parent, Chair of the Senate Minority Caucus, and Representative Saira Draper, both Democrats from Atlanta, are set to hold a press conference to discuss proposed legislation on mid-cycle redistricting reform in Georgia. The event is scheduled for Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. on the South Steps of the Georgia State Capitol. The public is invited to attend.

The lawmakers will address several bills related to the redistricting process: Senate Bill 114, Senate Resolution 58, Senate Resolution 558, and House Resolution 1033.
