The Senate Study Committee on Additional Services and Resources for Transition Age Youth in Foster Care will hold its final meeting on Friday, November 21, at 1:00 p.m. The committee is chaired by Sen. Kay Kirkpatrick (R–Marietta). The meeting will take place at the Coverdell Legislative Office Building, Room 307, located at 18 Capitol Square, SW, Atlanta, GA.
This session is intended to adopt the committee’s report. The event is open to the public and will be live-streamed through the Georgia General Assembly website.
The committee was created by Senate Resolution 310 with the goal of assessing current services available to transition age youth in foster care across Georgia and considering what additional resources may be necessary to support their success into adulthood.
