Senator Randal Mangham will host Faith and Clergy Day at the Georgia State Capitol on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. The event will bring together Jamal Harrison Bryant, Senior Pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, and over 200 faith leaders from across Georgia. The purpose is to discuss how the faith community can work more closely with state leadership.
The day’s agenda includes a press conference focused on protecting locally administered elections and encouraging civic participation in the upcoming primary elections. There will also be discussion about the recent escalation of the war with Iran and the moral responsibilities leaders face when their decisions affect human life.
Faith and Clergy Day will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Georgia State Capitol located at 206 Washington St SW, Atlanta. The press conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at Liberty Plaza, 262 Capitol Ave SE, Atlanta. Both events are open to the public.
