The University of Georgia Extension announced on May 20 that a two-day ServSafe Manager Certification Course and exam will be held at the Georgia Grown Innovation Center in Metter, Georgia. The course will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with participants responsible for their own lunch.
The ServSafe Manager Certification is nationally recognized and provides training for food safety management. Registration for the event is $150, which includes all necessary materials. Participants are required to pick up their books and materials no later than two weeks before the class date.
The course content will be delivered over two days, with the certification exam taking place immediately after completion of the material. Organizers noted that the class may be cancelled or rescheduled if there is low participation.
