Southeast Health District announces back-to-school clinics for immunizations and screenings

Health departments across the Southeast Health District will host Back-to-School clinics, providing required immunizations and hearing, vision, and dental screenings for Georgia child care and school attendance, according to a May 26 announcement.

Clinic dates vary by county. Appling County offers immunizations and screenings during normal operating hours. Atkinson County’s clinic is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29 from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Brantley County will hold clinics on Thursday, July 16 and Thursday, July 30 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Coffee County’s clinic is set for Wednesday, July 22 from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Jeff Davis County will offer services on Monday, July 27 from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Pierce County’s clinics are scheduled for Monday, August 3 and Tuesday, August 4 from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM each day. Tattnall County will have a clinic in Reidsville on Tuesday, July 14 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and in Glennville on Monday, July 20 at the same times. Ware County offers two options—Thursday, July 23 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Thursday, August 6 from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Wayne County has three dates available—Tuesday, July 28; Monday, August 3; and Tuesday, August 25—all running from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

If families cannot attend their designated clinic date or time for their county of residence, all health departments in the Southeast Health District provide walk-in access for required immunizations during regular business hours.
