Georgia House Speaker Jon Burns will hold a press conference to discuss the Insurance Affordability & Claims Integrity Act. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 1 p.m. on the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta.

Joining Burns at the press conference will be Insurance Commissioner John King and Chairman Matt Reeves. The focus of the event is to address issues related to insurance affordability and claims integrity in Georgia.

Burns has served as a Republican representative for Georgia’s 159th House District since his election in 2005, succeeding Ray Holland.

The press conference will take place at the Georgia State Capitol, located at 206 Washington Street S.W., Atlanta, GA 30334.
