Spivey Splash Water Park announced on May 8 that it is offering Splash Party Packages for those celebrating birthdays or special occasions this summer. The water park, located at 2300 Walt Stephens Road in Jonesboro, is providing two types of packages: the Little Wave Party Package for $550 with a standard-sized room and the Big Splash Party Package for $650 with a large-sized room.

The announcement highlights that each package includes one private room and a food package, accommodating up to 15 guests per room. Additional guests can be added for $15 each. A refundable security deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking and will be returned if the room remains clean and undamaged after use. Reservations are not available on holiday weekends.

The introduction of these party packages comes as local families seek new options for gatherings during the warmer months. For more information about reservations or details about what each package includes, visitors are directed to Spiveysplash.com or can call 770-603-4000.

In related news, Clayton County schools saw enrollment drop by 2.5% in the 2022-23 school year compared to the previous year, according to the Georgia Department of Education. The district enrolled a total of 61,644 students during that period.

Demographic data shows that Black students made up 68% of Clayton County’s student body in the same school year, while Hispanic students accounted for 24%. Multiracial students represented 3%, and White students were least represented at just 2%, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

As Spivey Splash Water Park introduces its party offerings, it adds another option for families seeking local venues amid changing community demographics.
