Attorney Lin Wood has accused the State Bar of Georgia of trying to silence him following a complaint filed against him. Wood, who received a 1,600-page grievance complaint, took to messaging app Telegram to seek assistance.

“The GA State Bar attacks my social posts, even impliedly mocking my public statements of my religious faith,” Wood wrote to his 700,000 followers, The Epoch Times reported. “In short, the GA State Bar is trying to crush me to silence me and prevent me from practicing law.”

The State Bar’s complaint which was dated Feb. 5 states:

“The State Disciplinary Board of the State Bar of Georgia has received information concerning the above-named attorney that suggests that said attorney may have violated one or more of the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct,” The Epoch Times reported.

Wood is the defamation case lawyer responsible for filing third-party lawsuits on behalf of former President Donald Trump, challenging the legitimacy of the Georgia election. He suggested that could be the reason the State Bar issued a politically motivated complaint.

“The enemy has ensnared itself by opening up election fraud and other false attacks against me simply because I am a Trump supporter and a truth-giver. The reputation the enemy is trying so hard to destroy is the reputation that will fight back and destroy the enemy,” he wrote on Telegram, The Epoch Times reported.

Wood is currently being investigated on whether he voted legally in Georgia or not. Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office launched the investigation after Wood announced that he had changed his residency from Georgia to the State of South Carolina. Wood has described the probe as “pure harassment,” according to WBS-TV and the Epoch Times.
