Census Bureau: More women than men in Georgia in 2019

Of the 10,403,847 people living in Georgia in 2019, 51.3 percent (5,341,751) were women and 48.7 percent (5,062,096) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Peach Tree Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 144,404. In the 65 and over age range, there were 794,914 females and 611,571 males.
