State Representative Michelle Au is set to host a second press conference on school safety, scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, 2025. The event will take place at 1 p.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol.
This follow-up event comes after Rep. Au held an initial press conference with families and students from Apalachee High School on February 4, 2025. The focus of both events is to discuss and evaluate the progress made in bipartisan school safety reform.
The venue for the upcoming conference remains consistent with the previous one, located at 206 Washington Street S.W., Atlanta, GA 30334.
"Families and students of Apalachee High School joined Rep. Au on Tuesday, February 4, 2025," as previously noted in the announcement regarding the first gathering focused on this pressing issue.
The community is invited to join Rep. Au once again as discussions continue around enhancing safety measures in schools.
