The Home Depot has opened a new store in Leander, Texas, according to a May 26 announcement. The location at 9541 183A Toll FR Rd is one of twelve stores the company plans to add across the United States in 2026.
Store Manager Daniel leads the team at Store #1348. Daniel began his career with The Home Depot in 2000 as a garden lot attendant and has managed three locations during his tenure. “There is a special kind of energy when you’re building a team from the ground up. Leander is growing fast, and we’re here to make sure every home builder and homeowner have the tools they need to succeed,” Daniel said.
The new store covers 146,000 square feet and brings more than 150 jobs to the local area. It features specialty showrooms, flexible checkout areas, updated merchandising displays, larger garden centers, expanded storage for Buy Online Pick Up in Store orders, a full-service tool rental center with professional-grade equipment, and AI-powered services such as blueprint takeoffs provided by a dedicated Pro team.
The company encourages those interested in employment opportunities at Store #1348 or other locations to apply online. The Home Depot states it is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and welcomes all qualified applicants regardless of disability status or other protected characteristics.
Leander’s store opening is part of The Home Depot’s broader U.S. expansion planned for 2026.
