Traffic disruptions are scheduled on I-85 and SR 42/North Druid Hills Road from June 20 to June 29, 2025. Overnight closures will begin on Friday, June 20, at 8 p.m., affecting various lanes on SR 42/North Druid Hills Road eastbound and westbound between Buford Highway and Briarcliff Road until Saturday, June 21, at 6 a.m. Pacing will occur at intersections with Children’s Driveway and New Executive Park Drive starting at 9 p.m.

Further overnight lane closures will take place from Sunday, June 22, through Monday, June 23. Additional pacing is planned for the same section from Monday, June 23, to Saturday, June 28. These will affect both directions of SR 42/North Druid Hills Road starting at 9 p.m. The I-85 northbound off-ramp to SR 42/North Druid Hills Road eastbound will also experience pacing.

Detours are advised for motorists traveling on SR 42/North Druid Hills Road to I-85 northbound or southbound. For those heading northbound, use the Frontage Road and Clairmont Road. Southbound travelers should follow similar routes using these roads to access their destination.

Motorists should expect delays and exercise caution in work zones. Real-time updates can be accessed by calling “511,” visiting “511ga.org,” or downloading the Georgia “511” app.
