The traffic pattern on Bulldog Road at the US 1 Bypass construction project in Toombs County will undergo a change. Starting Monday, June 16, weather permitting, the current free-flow traffic will be replaced with a stop condition using stop signs.

To assist motorists in adapting to this new arrangement, message boards will be placed on Bulldog Road. These boards are expected to remain for some time after the transition to help drivers adjust to the changed traffic operations.

The Department urges all citizens traveling in this area to drive attentively as drivers become accustomed to the new stop conditions.

The new stop condition is located east of Dee Mosley Road and west of Toombs County Schools at the US 1 Bypass roadway project in Toombs County.
