Walker Park Splash Pad to open for pre-season hours starting May 9

The Walker Park Splash Pad will begin its pre-season hours on Saturday, May 9, operating from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The splash pad, located at 200 Trail Creek Street, will be open on weekends only from May 9 through May 17. Regular seasonal hours will start on Saturday, May 23. During the regular season, the splash pad will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and it will be closed on Mondays for maintenance.

Additionally, the Howard Park Splash Pad at 291 Henderson Extension is scheduled to open for the season on Saturday, May 23. Admission for both splash pads and pools is $1 per person. Pool passes are available for $20 each and can be used at both splash pads as well as all five public pools managed by the department. Passes may be purchased onsite with payment options including cash and check.
