Augusta voter alleges Democrats were still filling out provisional ballots three days following the election

“Don’t you think what you’re doing is wrong?” an Augusta voter asked a man he alleges tried to illegally fill out his son’s provisional ballot.

The voter, who requested anonymity due to fear of retribution, is reporting a man describing himself as working for the Democratic Party of Georgia approached his former home in the Faith Village area of Augusta to try and finalize the provisional ballot.

Robocalls were also reported in the area from the Democrat-aligned The New Georgia Project Action Fund and other unknown groups.

“We are just calling last minute voters who still have their provisional ballots put, today is the last day,” a narrator from a robocall from the The New Georgia Project Action Fund said.

Another robocall did not state from where it originated.

“Today is the last day to ensure your provisional ballot is counted, everyone in the nation is paying attention to Georgia in this moment and it is important every vote is counted. Have you completed your provisional ballot to make sure your vote is counted?” the unidentified narrator said.

The party worker is only described as wearing scrubs and gloves and holding a list of names, The voter, who has since moved to Virginia, reported his father interacted with the man at his former home in Augusta on Friday, Nov. 6.

“Well, I just need this information to complete his provisional ballot,” the man allegedly said after being told the voter had moved away.

The man pushed back after the voter’s father said they had voted on Election Day, three days earlier.

“You and I voted on Tuesday but this provisional ballot needs to be turned in by 5 p.m.,” the voter reported the man as saying.

Under Georgia election law provisional ballots can be changed up to three days following the vote.

Provisional ballots are among the last votes to be counted in the state.

On Saturday the election was broadly called in favor of Joe Biden over Donald Trump.

In Georgia, the race is neck-in-neck with Biden currently carrying 49.5% of the votes with 2,467,859 votes to Trump’s 49.3% of the vote with 2,456,270 votes.

An audit and recount are both imminent in the state.

In Augusta, election authorities report Biden received more than 67 percent of the vote
