U.S. Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue will have a welcome ally in the state on Monday when Ivanka Trump is set to campaign on their behalf. 

Loeffler and Perdue, both incumbents, are locked in runoff battles against Democratic challengers Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. 

"I’m honored to be back in the great state of Georgia to campaign for my friends Sen. David Perdue and Sen. Kelly Loeffler," Ivanka Trump said, according to Fox 5 Atlanta. "Over the last four years we’ve fought for the hardworking people of Georgia, securing historic tax cuts and better trade deals, increasing access to affordable childcare, advocating for small businesses and delivering for our military. We must ensure that Republicans hold the Senate in order to continue advancing policies that lift up all Americans."

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has called the race the most important runoff in American history. 

A federal judge recently denied a lawsuit seeking to restore 200,000 Georgians who were improperly stricken from voter rolls.
