President Donald Trump has announced he will make a campaign stop in Georgia right before the Jan. 5 runoff election.

Trump announced on Twitter that he would speak at a rally for U.S. Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. Both are Republican incumbents.

“As badly as we were treated in Georgia by the “Republican” Governor and “Republican” Secretary of State, we must have a massive victory for two great people, @KLoeffler & @sendavidperdue, on January 5th. I will be having a big Rally for them on Monday night, January 4th. WIN!” he tweeted

As noted in the tweet, Trump has been at odds with Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, whom he has referred to as “RINOs.”

Loeffler and Perdue are running against Democrats Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. The outcome of the race will decide control of the U.S. Senate. Democrats already control the House and will control the White House after Inauguration Day.

Loeffler and Perdue have sought changes to the way elections are handled prior to the runoff.

Last week, Trump advisor Stephen Miller pointed to signature matching issues in Georgia as a source of potential fraud.
