President Donald Trump said Vice President Mike Pence has the power to reject electors that have been fraudulently named to positions.

“The Vice President has the power to reject fraudulently chosen electors,” Trump tweeted Tuesday.

Trump, who visited Georgia ahead of the Senate runoff election, told voters that he hoped Pence would help.

“I hope Mike Pence comes through for us, I have to tell you,” Trump said to voters. “I hope that our great vice president, our great vice president, comes through for us. He’s a great guy. Of course, if he doesn’t come through, I won’t like him as much,” Trump said.

Pence, who was also in Georgia on Monday, told supporters that Republicans will have their day in Congress on Wednesday.

“I know we all have got our doubts about the last election,” Pence said to supporters.

Pence assured supporters that he was just as concerned as they are.

“I want to assure you that I share the concerns of millions of Americans about voting irregularities,” Pence said. “I promise you, come this Wednesday, we will have our day in Congress.”

Trump and Pence were in Georgia to show support ahead of the Senate runoff election. U.S. Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, both Republicans, are up against Democrats Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.

In November, none of the candidates in the two races reached a majority of votes, leading to the runoff election being scheduled.

Trump supporters on Twitter said they would continue to fight for him on Wednesday.

“I’ve never in my entire life come across anyone with the courage D J Trump has, he needs all the support he can get,” one supporter replied to his tweet.

Another supporter pointed out that certified votes could just as easily be decertified if they weren’t correct.
