The Georgia Department of Transportation has announced temporary lane closures for the State Route 400 Express Lanes Project, scheduled to start on the evening of April 13, 2025. The closures, which will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., are contingent upon weather conditions.

For southbound traffic, the lane closures will affect several segments: from Old Milton Parkway (mile marker 19) to Holcomb Bridge Road (mile marker 15), Holcomb Bridge Road Parkway (mile marker 15) to Abernathy Road (mile marker 8), and from State Route 141 (mile marker 27) to Old Milton Parkway (mile marker 19). Each segment will see a single lane closure, either the inside left-lane or the outside right-lane with the corresponding shoulder.

For northbound traffic, closures will also occur on sections stretching from Abernathy Road (mile marker 8) to Holcomb Bridge Road (mile marker 15), Holcomb Bridge Road (mile marker 15) to Old Milton Parkway (mile marker 19), and Old Milton Parkway (mile marker 19) to State Route 141 (mile marker 27). These will involve a single-lane closure of the outside right-lane and shoulder.

These scheduled closures are part of the ongoing construction efforts for the State Route 400 Express Lanes Project and are set to conclude by April 18, 2025.
