The number of employees on nonfarm payrolls for December 2021 in the Augusta-Richmond County metropolitan statistical area was 240,600, a 0.5 percent increase over the previous month, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

In November 2021, the Augusta-Richmond County reported 239,300 workers on nonfarm payrolls.
