State Representative Jasmine Clark of Lilburn will join forces with former NBA player Josh Powell and the organization 21 Reasons To Give, Inc. at an event in Atlanta today. The gathering, known as the Phoenix Academy Fly High Honors Event, is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 1 p.m.
Rep. Clark expressed her enthusiasm for participating in this occasion alongside Powell. “It is an honor to serve alongside my friend Josh Powell for the 21 Reasons To Give’s final event of the year,” she stated. She emphasized the dedication of the students being honored: “These students have worked hard, and we are excited to partner with Phoenix High School to honor them.”
Phoenix Academy serves as a local alternative school designed to meet the needs of students facing academic, socioemotional, and behavioral challenges. The event aims to celebrate their achievements and recognize their efforts.
