Georgia's Attorney General, Chris Carr, has asserted that Iran is neither a victim nor acting in self-defense but is instead the instigator, involved in supporting and participating in terrorism. He underscored his support for Israel on this issue.
"Let's be clear, Iran is not a victim or acting in self defense," said General Chris Carr, according to X. "They are the aggressor - harboring, supporting, and engaging in terrorism. I stand with Israel."
"Iran initiated an attack on Israeli territory by deploying explosive drones and launching missiles," reported Reuters. This action marked Iran's first direct assault on Israel, sparking concerns about escalating regional tensions. The United States, meanwhile, reaffirmed its unwavering support for Israel.

Following Israel's request for condemnation of Iran's attack and the designation of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization, the U.N. Security Council convened. According to another report by Reuters, Israel's military spokesperson confirmed Iran's launch of numerous ground-to-ground missiles. Most were intercepted outside Israeli borders, causing limited damage to one military facility.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), established as the primary defender of the 1979 revolution in Iran, has since expanded its scope to wield substantial political, economic, and military power. The IRGC provides support to militant groups operating in various countries including Iraq, Lebanon, Palestinian territories, Syria, and Yemen according to information from the IRGC webpage provided by the Council on Foreign Relations.
