Today, Senator Brandon Beach of Alpharetta, who chairs the Senate Committee on Economic Development and Tourism, released a statement urging national unity after the 2024 Presidential Election. He also called for an end to lawsuits against President-Elect Donald Trump.

"Following one of the most politically hostile elections in recent history, voters across America have made their voice heard. Our country must unite. President Biden himself called for us to lower the temperature in politics, and it is imperative that we as Americans answer that call and make a commitment to unity," said Sen. Beach.

He emphasized the importance of acknowledging the significant vote favoring Donald Trump's leadership. "The American people have delivered a historically significant vote in favor of the strong leadership Donald Trump brings to the White House, signaling a rejection of politically influenced lawfare," he stated.

Senator Beach urged Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to dismiss criminal indictments against Trump and others in Fulton County. "Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis should follow the example set by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Special Counsel Jack Smith by immediately dismissing the criminal indictments against President Trump and other innocent persons in Fulton County," he added.

Senator Beach concluded his statement with a call for healing: "The time to heal our nation is now, and I call on those in the justice system to take the first step in doing so."

Senator Brandon Beach represents Georgia's 21st Senate District, covering parts of Cherokee and Fulton counties. For further information or media inquiries, contact details are provided for reaching him directly or through Senate Press Inquiries.
