Protesters flooded the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta yesterday, waving flags and carrying “Stop the Steal” signs.

Hundreds reportedly attended the event.

“We the people are now being told to sit down and shut up after we have watched the most blatant act of fraud ever committed in our state election,” demonstrator Chester Doles said.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger evacuated his office after armed protesters were reported on the capitol grounds.

Meanwhile, Gov. Brian Kemp expressed his opposition to riots occurring in Washington, D.C.

Across the country, protesters marched at their statehouses. In Minnesota, there were cheers when the Capitol news broke. In New Mexico, the state police had to evacuate staff as a precaution.

In Utah, Gov. Spencer Cox sent home hundreds of protesters. A small fight broke out in Ohio between pro-Trump demonstrators and counter-protesters. There was at least one person arrested in Oregon and a peaceful rally in Kansas had supporters filing into the statehouse through security checkpoints and walking around historical exhibits.

In Hawaii, protesters lined the road near the capitol building and waved American flags and Trump 2020 flags.

There were also protesters in South Carolina, but they left the statehouse before the attack occurred at the U.S. Capitol.
