Spring and summer’s longer and warmer days will wind down into cool evenings filled with music and merriment with the return of City Green Live and Concerts by the Springs.

City Green Live, the popular Friday night monthly music series, kicks off on April 28 with the alternative rock band, Better Than Ezra. The Sandy Springs Arts Foundation is a presenting sponsor of City Green Live. A beloved Sunday evening tradition, Concerts by the Springs on the Entertainment Lawn at Heritage Park returns May 7 with The Geek Squad. Concerts by the Springs are sponsored in part by the Sandy Springs Arts Foundation. (See full lineups below.)

As in the past, lawn seating is free and reserved table seating is available for purchase for both City Green Live and Concerts by the Springs. City Springs Members enjoy pre-show receptions featuring complimentary hors d’oeuvres and private cash bar on the Terrace overlooking the City Green before the City Green Live events and at Heritage Hall prior to the Concerts by the Springs events. For information on table sales, please contact the Box Office at 770-206-2022.

CityBar will have pre-order menus for both City Green Live and Concerts by the Springs. Enjoy a selection of sandwiches, Bento Boxes, and shareable charcuterie boxes along with wine by the bottle or can. Orders must be received by 3 p.m. on the preceding Tuesday.

This year, the City of Sandy Springs will also introduce a new entertainment program, Sundown Social, which will take place most Thursday evenings in the plaza on the City Green, featuring local musicians, food and beverages, and more. The first Sundown Social is scheduled for Thursday, May 11 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The Sandy Springs Arts Foundation is a presenting sponsor of Sundown Social.
