In an effort to foster economic inclusivity, the Georgia Chamber and Fiserv have unveiled a selection of eight diverse businesses for exclusive one-year memberships. These memberships are designed to empower enterprises across various sectors by providing essential resources and opportunities within the state's small business ecosystem.
The Georgia Department of Commerce issued a press release stating that the Chamber's program, which was launched in fall 2020 with support from Fiserv, aims to bolster economic competitiveness through leadership initiatives within Georgia's small business community. This year, the program recognized and awarded eight small businesses: Chil & Co, Novae, SheLends, TGK Trucking LLC, Southern Crescent Veteran Services Inc., IBEX Experts, SEAS Community Partners, and Westbridge Solutions.
According to the same press release, Chris Clark, President and CEO of the Georgia Chamber said: "The Chamber is proud to work alongside our member corporations like Fiserv to create a more competitive business environment throughout the state. Through our continued partnership with Fiserv and the Small Diverse Business Program, these eight companies will gain immediate access to the benefits of a Georgia Chamber membership including affordable healthcare benefits, training and HR programs, local and statewide events, and access to information from Georgia’s largest and most influential business advocacy organization."
Fiserv, a leading global provider of payments and financial services technology solutions according to the Georgia Department of Commerce press release, continues its support for the Small Diverse Business program by funding the Georgia Chamber memberships for these eight businesses. With significant operations in Georgia, Fiserv serves as a technology provider to numerous small businesses across the state through its payment and point-of-sale platform.
The selected businesses with membership will have access to investor benefit programs such as health insurance and retirement plans according to the Georgia Department of Commerce. They will also receive compliance resources, discounts on office supplies and event tickets along with updates from Fiserv. Other perks include the Chamber logo for website display and social media recognition.
