State Representative Teri Anulewicz (D-Smyrna) was recently honored as a Legislator of the Year by the Junior League of Atlanta (JLA) at their “Spirit of Voluntarism” luncheon. The award was presented in recognition of Anulewicz's advocacy for women and children in the city of Atlanta and the state of Georgia.
“I am very thankful to be honored by JLA as a Legislator of the Year,” said Rep. Anulewicz. “As a member of this organization for 20 years, I have seen the impact JLA has made on our community and state. We will remain steadfast in our commitment to uplift women’s voices and support women as they pursue leadership in their communities. I have been very proud to represent Cobb County and will continue to work with my colleagues in the General Assembly for the betterment of women and children in Georgia.”
The “Spirit of Voluntarism” luncheon is an event that honors leaders in the community who align with JLA’s mission of advancing women’s leadership. JLA is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to promoting women's leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.
