ATLANTA (May 15, 2024) – Senator Larry Walker III (R–Perry) has been appointed to a significant role on the joint Blue-Ribbon Committee. This committee, initiated by Speaker of the House Jon Burns and Lt. Governor Burt Jones, is tasked with investigating licensing issues within the Secretary of State’s Professional Licensing Boards Division. The appointment highlights Senator Walker's dedication to addressing critical issues that impact small businesses and communities across Georgia.

Senator Walker has been a staunch advocate for professional licensing legislation during the previous legislative session.
