Georgia senate committee holds final forest innovation meeting

The Senate Advancing Forest Innovation in Georgia Study Committee is set to hold its fourth and final meeting on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The committee, led by President Pro Tempore John F. Kennedy (R–Macon), will convene at the State Capitol in Atlanta.

The event is open to the public and will be live-streamed on the Georgia General Assembly website. It aims to explore how public policy can foster investment in facilities that utilize Georgia-grown products for sustainable manufacturing and energy production.
