The Georgia House of Representatives' Committee on Assignments has announced the committee assignments for State Representative Ruwa Romman (D-Duluth) for the 2025-2026 legislative term. The announcement was made by House Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington), who chairs the committee.

Rep. Romman will serve on three committees: Energy, Utilities, and Telecommunications; Information and Audits; and Interstate Cooperation. Expressing her gratitude, Rep. Romman stated, "I am grateful for leadership’s support and belief in me to carry out these important roles." She emphasized her commitment to working on issues that are significant to Georgians, saying, "I am honored to retain my leadership positions and sit on House committees that will enable my colleagues and I to work on issues that matter most to Georgians. I will do all that I can for the betterment of my district and our state."

In addition to her committee roles, Rep. Romman will continue serving as a deputy whip for the Georgia House Democratic Caucus and as the parliamentarian of the Gwinnett County Legislative Delegation.
