The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has announced upcoming maintenance work on the concrete pavement of I-75 Southbound in Monroe County. The repairs are scheduled to take place from Mile Marker 182 to 183, beginning Monday, February 24, 2025. The work will occur overnight from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.
The maintenance activities will be near the crossroads of SR 18 and Rumble Road. GDOT advises travelers to adjust their travel plans accordingly to minimize disruptions due to these necessary infrastructure improvements.
During the scheduled maintenance, lanes two and three will be closed from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. on Monday night. Motorists should expect delays and are advised to exercise caution and reduce speed while traveling through the work zones.
