ATLANTA — Sen. Donzella James (D–Atlanta) is set to hold a press conference on Diaspora Day tomorrow, March 18, at 1:00 p.m. The event will take place at the South Steps of the State Capitol in Atlanta and is open to the public.
Sen. James will discuss the significance of International Diaspora Day, which is observed annually to acknowledge the economic, social, and cultural contributions of individuals who have migrated from their countries while maintaining ties to their heritage. The day also provides a platform for discussions on policies that support diaspora engagement and international cooperation.
