OPINION: Two Georgia questions for Joe Biden

Trumpcortes

As Joe Biden travels to Georgia on Tuesday, here are two critical questions he should be asked.

Why would law-abiding Georgians surrender their guns?

Joe Biden has been consistent throughout the campaign in his intent to gut the Second Amendment. When CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked Biden if he would come for the weapons of legal gun owners, his response was “Bingo, you’re right.” Biden has been clear that he will ban so-called “assault weapons” (a meaningless and redundant catchphrase), including the AR-15, the most popular rifle in America. In fact, he promised to make Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke the effective “gun czar” in a Biden administration. O’Rourke’s anti-gun stances place him at the far left of even the Democrat Party on the issue, as he openly threatens actual government confiscation of presently-legal firearms. Southern states like Georgia will not agree to the anti-gun, anti-Bill of Rights agenda of Biden/Harris.

Why should Georgia retreat backward to economic globalism?

Joe Biden loves to brag about his Scranton roots. But he left Pennsylvania in the 1950s, and has spent nearly a half century in the Washington swamp as a true Delaware senator, representing the interests of giant multinational corporations and the prerogatives of foreign governments. Biden’s priorities have harmed American workers, especially industrial laborers in places like the Peach State.  In fact, Biden was a foremost proponent of the disastrous NAFTA agreement in 1994. From the ratification of NAFTA until President Trump’s election, Georgia lost a staggering 129,500 manufacturing jobs, according to Labor Department data. Thankfully, President Trump renegotiated that terrible trade deal and replaced it with the USMCA pact which prioritizes American workers. Joe Biden amazingly now channels failed presidential candidate John Kerry, and claims he was actually for NAFTA…before he was against it.

Joe Biden is also the best friend that Beijing’s tyrants could ever ask for in Washington. As senator and as vice-president, he aggressively pushed China’s inclusion into the World Trade Organization and enabled the China Communist Party’s systematic abuse of American workers through trade practices that were predatory, not reciprocal, and even outright criminal. According to a study from the Economic Policy Institute, the state of Georgia lost a staggering 103,100 jobs due to the disastrous trade structures with China that Biden facilitated. While the CCP plundered American technology and destroyed American manufacturing jobs, Joe Biden had the gall to praise China, saying in 2011 that “a rising China is a positive, positive development, not only for China, but for America.” As then-Vice President Biden uttered that Pollyanna nonsense to his Davos-credentialed CEO fanboys, America’s industrial prowess eroded with devastating consequences.

Biden’s own family prospered though, as his wayward son Hunter traveled with his father on an official vice-presidential visit to China aboard Air Force Two. After meetings with officials of the Chinese regime, Hunter secured a massive $1.5 billion investment in his private equity fund, even though the younger Biden had no track record in that industry. Even worse, new revelations from Hunter’s “laptop from hell” provide details of a dirty money deal between the Biden Cartel and the CCP-controlled Chinese energy firm CEFC. It’s Chairman Ye agreed to pay Hunter’s shell firm the massive sum of $10 million per year for “introductions.” In emails, Hunter is assigned 30% of the deal, with 10% to be held for the “big guy.” Various sources confirm the “big guy” is in fact Joe Biden, including one of the deal partners, Tony Bobulinski, a Navy veteran who gave a detailed, on-the-record account. It appears, then, that Biden’s private corruption may well have motivated his public policy failing pertaining to China. The Bidens got rich, and America got robbed.
