This is a reminder that Hall County’s administrative offices, community centers, libraries, courts, and recycling center will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The landfill will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but will be open on Friday. Compactor sites will also be open on Friday but will offer limited hours on Thanksgiving Day, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The Hall County Animal Shelter will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25 but will reopen Saturday, Nov. 26, while the Hall County Community Centers will remain closed on Saturday and re-open for regular business hours at 7 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 28.
Essential public safety and public works personnel will continue service as usual during the holiday.
