Hall County’s 30-year legacy of excellence in financial reporting continues

In continuing achievement spanning three decades, Hall County Financial Services has received the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2021.

The designation is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting.

“Hall County Financial Services has received this award for 30 consecutive years, which is a testament to the dedication and diligent efforts of the Financial Services employees, who continually go above and beyond for the citizens of Hall County,” said Wes Geddings, Hall County Financial Services Director (pictured).

The annual comprehensive financial report (ACFR) was judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the ACFR.

Copies of Hall County's most recent comprehensive financial reports can be found on the Financial Services page.
