Georgia Freedom Dinner to be held April 30

The Georgia Public Policy Foundation will hold their annual Georgia Freedom Dinner on April 30. This year’s event will include special guest Kimberley Strassel, a columnist for the Wall Street Journal. 

Strassel has worked at the Wall Street Journal as an opinion columnist since 2005. Previously, she worked in Brussels and London. She works on political shows such as CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Fox News Sunday, and NBC’s “Meet the Press.” She has also published a book on conservative organizations titled “The Intimidation Game: How the Left Is Silencing Free Speech.”

The event will be held at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel, located at 2450 Galleria Pkwy SE in Atlanta. The reception will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner served after at 7 p.m. Parking is available at the hotel with validation provided. 

The dress code is business or cocktail attire. 

Tickets for the events are available for $175 for a regular ticket, and $500 for a VIP ticket, which includes an exclusive reception with Strassel with cocktails and appetizers. 

The Georgia Public Policy Foundation, formed in 1991, is an advocacy organization whose mission is “to improve the lives of Georgians by promoting public policies that enhance economic opportunity and freedom,” according to their website. The current president is Kyle Wingfield.
