31 illegal immigrants arrested in Georgia in April for murder, sex crimes against children, human trafficking, and drugs

528 illegal aliens were arrested in April 2024 alone for crimes, including murder, sex crimes against children, human trafficking, and drug smuggling. Thirty-one of these offenders were apprehended in Georgia on charges including drug trafficking, battery, kidnapping, murder, and sexual abuse and assault of a child, according to an analysis from Restoration News.

A report from Restoration News found that over 500 illegal alien alleged criminals were arrested in April alone. This figure included 20 illegal aliens arrested on murder charges.

Pablo Ayala Hernandez was arrested on April 5 in Gwinnett County and charged with child molestation and sexual battery of a child under 16. He was placed on an ICE detainer.

Edwin Urias Lopez was arrested in Gwinnett County on April 25 and charged with child molestation. Lopez was placed on an ICE detainer.

Felix Hernandez-Martinez, Leonardo Fabio Ojito Atencio, and Leonel Diaz Romero were arrested in April in Gwinnett County on charges including cruelty to children and were placed on ICE detainers.

Maria Guadalupe Garcia Garcia, Felix Hernandez-Martinez, Leonel Diaz Romero, Carlos Cabrera Echevarria, and Jose Zamorano were all arrested on charges including but not limited to battery against family. All were arrested in Gwinnett County except for Zamorano, who was arrested in Hall County. All were placed on ICE detainers.

Celeo Daniel Reyes and Javier Gonzales Rodriguez were arrested in Gwinnett County on charges including kidnapping. Both were placed on ICE detainers.

On April 3, 19-year-old Erik Ruiz-Lopez was arrested in Gwinnett County and charged with the murder of his roommate. Lopez allegedly strangled his roommate with a TV cable before stabbing him repeatedly with a knife. He was placed on ICE detainers.

The Laken Riley Act would require the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to detain non-citizens who have been arrested for crimes like burglary, theft, and shoplifting. The bill passed through the House for consideration by the US Senate. All five Democratic members of Georgia's House delegation, Reps. Sanford (D), Hank Johnson (D), Lucy McBath (D), David Scott (D), and Nikema Williams (D), voted against the bill.

Since President Biden took office, over 7.2 million illegal immigrants have entered the United States. According to a report from Fox News, this figure is larger than the population of 36 US States.
