Jon Burns Speaker of the House | Georgia General Assembly
State Representative Carl Gilliard (D-Savannah) will host the seventh annual Georgia Economic Empowerment Summit on Friday, May 31, 2024. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Savannah Technical College in Savannah.
The summit will include presentations from the Georgia Department of Human Services, the Georgia Department of Early Learning, and representatives from the film industry. Additionally, there will be a lunch and learn session for businesses and nonprofits focused on establishing business credit, sponsored by Cumulus Broadcasting. Vendors will also be present to discuss career opportunities.
