Atlanta – Governor Brian P. Kemp announced the appointment and re-appointment of 30 Georgians to various state boards, authorities, and commissions.

Caylee Noggle has been appointed to the Comprehensive Health Coverage Commission. Noggle is the President and CEO of the Georgia Hospital Association (GHA) and has served in various leadership roles for nearly 20 years with the State of Georgia, including as Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH). She played a significant role in the state's COVID-19 response and secured over $1 billion in new funding for hospitals through Directed Payment Programs.

Dean Stone was reappointed to the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy, while James Barber was reappointed to the Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce.

David Retterbush joins the Georgia Composite Medical Board. He is a general surgeon with over 30 years of experience, specializing in breast, laparoscopic, oncologic, and endoscopic procedures at South Georgia Medical Center and Smith Northview Hospital.

Greg Woolard has been appointed to the Bona Fide Coin Operated Amusement Machine Operator Advisory Board. Woolard serves on Arc Gaming and Technologies' Board of Directors and has extensive experience in convenience store management.

Regina Young was reappointed to the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Andrew Heath also joins this board as Deputy Chief Engineer overseeing several divisions within his department.

Jason M. Shepherd will serve on the Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission. Shepherd is an attorney specializing in healthcare regulatory law and an Assistant Professor at Kennesaw State University School of Government and International Affairs.

Gregory Goggins was reappointed to the Georgia Board of Dentistry, while Kelly Kyle Murray was reappointed to the State Board of Cosmetology and Barbers.

Maurizio Centis joins the State Board of Registration for Professional Geologists with over thirty years in environmental geology, currently working for Georgia Environmental Protection Division’s Land Protection Branch.

Steve Brock has been appointed to Atlanta-region Transit Link “ATL” Authority. Brock founded Brock Built Homes in 1984 and has built over 2,500 homes in Atlanta.

Sean Brevick will serve on the Georgia Tourism Council as Vice President of Americas Commercial Marketing at IHG Hotels & Resorts. James Hutchinson also joins this council as Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Georgia Lottery Corporation with over 30 years in marketing across various industries.

Mark Williams becomes Executive Director of Jekyll Island Authority after serving as Commissioner for the Department of Natural Resources among other roles.

Chris Yancey joins Upper Oconee Regional Water Planning Council as Director of Barrow County Public Works with 40 years in water management experience.

Will Nelson was reappointed to Tennessee Valley Authority Regional Resource Stewardship Council, while Emily W. Burton was reappointed to State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.

Douglas R. Aldridge Jr., a Private Wealth Financial Advisor recognized by Forbes, will serve on the Board of Human Services alongside Susan K. Treadaway who was reappointed to this board.

Kirk Fjelstul joins the Board of Directors for Georgia Regional Transportation Authority with extensive experience in land development law. Chris Schoen also joins this board from Greenstone Properties Inc., bringing over 30 years in real estate development expertise.

Holly W. Veal becomes a member of Trustees for Georgia Judicial Retirement System; she is a Superior Court judge noted for being Henry County's first African American elected judge.

Keith Brady continues his service on State Workforce Development Board as Mayor Newnan; he helped organize Newnan Boys & Girls Club among other contributions locally statewide organizations previously presided Municipal Electric Authority’s board chairman role spanning two decades tenure there too!
