Georgia legislators to hold press conference on AP African American studies course ban

State Representatives Jasmine Clark (D-Lilburn), along with State Senators Gloria Butler (D-Stone Mountain) and Nikki Merritt (D-Grayson), will hold a press conference to discuss the State School Superintendent’s decision to block an AP African American Studies course from the state curriculum. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 12 p.m. at the South Wing Steps of the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta.
