Georgia committee to discuss impact of credit card fees

The House Study Committee on Credit Card Fees on State Sales and Excise Tax and Their Impact on Georgia Merchants and Consumers is set to convene for its second meeting. The committee, led by State Representative Will Wade of Dawsonville, will gather on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. The session is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. in room 506 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building located in Atlanta.

This meeting aims to address the effects of credit card fees related to state sales and excise taxes on both merchants and consumers in Georgia. The public can watch the proceedings via a live stream.
