Traffic impacts are expected on I-285 and SR 400 from February 18 to February 22, 2025, due to planned construction activities. Daytime closures will occur on Thursday, February 20, and Friday, February 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., affecting the left lane on I-285 eastbound from Glenridge Drive to Peachtree Dunwoody Road.
Overnight closures will take place starting Tuesday, February 18, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. These closures include full detours on Abernathy Road and Peachtree Dunwoody Road. Motorists traveling on Abernathy Road eastbound should use Mercedes-Benz Drive (which changes to Barfield Road), Mount Vernon Highway, and Peachtree Dunwoody Road for access. Those traveling westbound should follow Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Mount Vernon Highway, and Barfield Road (changing to Mercedes-Benz Drive).
For travelers heading north on SR 400 to Abernathy Road westbound or southbound to Abernathy Road eastbound, designated detour routes are in place involving the same roads mentioned above.
On Wednesday night into Thursday morning (February 19-20), similar detours will be in effect for both Abernathy and Peachtree Dunwoody Roads.
