The Dublin-Laurens County Chamber of Commerce will be holding its Women in Business Ladies Golf Day on Wednesday, July 28 | Pixabay

The Dublin-Laurens County Chamber of Commerce will be holding its Women in Business Ladies Golf Day at the Dublin Country Club on Wednesday, July 28.

The event’s registration will begin at 8 a.m. and shotgun to start at 9 a.m. Reservations can be made through this link.

“Join us for a morning (of) fun, food and making new friendship!” the chamber stated on its website. “Women in Business - Ladies Day of Golf is designed just for you. Building business relationships in a fun, relaxed atmosphere affording you the opportunity to win great prizes, cash awards, enjoy a great meal and getting to know business leaders in our community. You don't have to know how to play, just have access to a set of clubs.”

A lunch, nine holes of golf, cart (cart bags sponsored by Shamrock Vending), beverages on the course (sponsored by Pepsi Bottling Group), team photo (sponsored by Betta Focus Photography), and games on the course are available for each player for a $50 fee.

According to Shepeard Community Blood Center, the title sponsor of the event, $300 in cash during luncheon will be awarded to the winning team.

A toss for cash of $100 will be sponsored by Farmers State Bank. The hole sponsors are Air Evac Lifeteam, Ameris Bank, Bass Physical Therapy & Rehab Services, Emerald Ease, Home Instead, Oak & Ivy Uniform and Lifestyle Boutique, Lifetime Bath & Glass, Tara J. Salon and Hair Replacement Center, and Tomblin Insurance Services.
