Georgia's Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean have made it to the list of four finalists for the 2021 Lott IMPACT Trophy, according to an announcement from Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation.
"Davis and Dean have helped Georgia lead the nation in scoring defense, rank second in total defense and third nationally in rushing defense," the school said in a post to its website.
Davis registered 28 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks while Dean tied the team lead with 61 stops, including a team-leading 8.5 tackles for loss and five sacks, and has two interceptions and a forced fumble. Davis is a native of Charlotte, N.C.
Davis was also a finalist for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy and is a finalist for the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award, the Outland Trophy, the Chuck Bednarik Award, and the Senior CLASS Award.
Dean was a finalist for the Wuerffel Trophy and was captain of the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. In addition, Dean was named to the SEC Community Service Team. He is a native of Horn Lake, Miss. Dean has already been awarded the 2021 Butkus Award, and he was also a finalist for the Wuerffel Trophy. The other two finalists for the Trophy include Utah senior linebacker Devin Lloyd and Michigan senior defensive lineman Aidan Hutchinson.
