Hall County is in Phase 2 of a two-phase process to update its comprehensive plan, the document that serves as a road map for growth and development, and is seeking the public’s input as it moves forward.
“The goal is for this long-term plan to be developed by and for the community, and we want to make sure every voice is heard throughout the process,” said Randi Doveton, director of Hall County Planning and Development.
The public engagement process for Phase 2 began with a virtual kick-off meeting on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022 on Zoom. A recording is available on the plan’s website: https://tsw.mysocialpinpoint.com/hall-county-forward.
Hall County is currently in the process of collecting community input through online activities, including a mapping activity, community forums and surveys that are open through Feb. 28.
“Any Hall County resident or stakeholder can contribute to the comprehensive plan as much or as little as they like. We even have a survey specifically for students; we want to hear from everyone,” said Doveton.
Hall County residents can find the surveys, mapping activities, and virtual community forums for the comprehensive plan on the Hall County Forward website: https://tsw.mysocialpinpoint.com/hall-county-forward.
