Georgia's Attorney General, Chris Carr, has accused the Biden administration of jeopardizing women's sports by eroding the fundamental protections of Title IX and promoting the participation of biological males in female competitions. He affirmed that measures have been implemented to secure women's rights to fair competition.

"The Biden administration is destroying women's sports," said General Chris Carr, according to X. "They're gutting commonsense Title IX protections & demanding that biological males be allowed to compete against females. Today, we've taken action to defend women's rights to fair competition."

In a move against the Biden administration's revised Title IX rule, Attorney General Carr has initiated a lawsuit. The contention is that this revision undermines the essence of women's sports and necessitates the communal use of bathrooms by both sexes. Title IX, which bans sex discrimination in federally funded education programs, has been reinterpreted by the Biden administration to encompass "gender identity" and "sexual orientation." As per the new rule dictated by the Office of the Attorney General, schools are obligated to respect students' "preferred pronouns," failing which they risk losing federal funding.
